Information on COVID-19:
3/27/2020 - A resident in Polk County has tested presumptive positive for the coronavirus.
3/24/2020 - Citizens, at this time, North Carolina has 398 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Governor Roy Cooper anticipates cases in every NC county by the end of the week. This virus is highly contagious to everyone, especially those who are 65 and older and/or have compromised immune systems or underlying health conditions. 20% of those who contract COVID-19 will need hospital care as opposed to 2% who contract the flu. In order to slow the spread of the virus, everyone who can stay home needs to do so. If you are sick or exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home and call your doctor. 3/23/2020 - City Hall, McCreery Park, and the Police Department are closed to the public until further notice. We can still assist you by phone at (828)749-2581 or by email at admin@cityofsaludanc.com. If you need the police, please call 911 for emergencies. 3/20/2020 - The City of Saluda will waive March 2020 late fees for customers who have been negatively impacted by COVID-19. To request this relief, please click here to fill out the relief form. Thank you.

The Planning Board has canceled their Special Called Meeting on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at 8:15am to comply with reduced meeting recommendations due to the Coronavirus. Tola Mueller, City Clerk
